52 Reason and Record Tips Week 13 : Reason Drum Kits in Record 2010-05-14 18:13
In this week's episode we'll learn how to load the Reason Drum Kits combinator patches and reroute each drum mic from the standard 14 channel mixer inside the combinator to Record's main mixer. Doing this allows you to mix your individual drum mics with all the killer EQ and dynamics processing available in every mix channel in record. There is quite simply no better way to get a pro sounding drum mix than mixing each mic individually on a pro-level console.

As always, thank you JB. I did a similar setup but you totally streamlined the workflow for me(plus I only did it for one kit lol). I have a template setup with parallel comp as well. It's requires some extra routing but it's nice to have as an option and it's all summed to one mix channel for easy control.
Anyhow, I really appreciate all of your time and effort.
